RAISE THE ROOF II: A Benefit for Renovations to Interim House

The online portion of RAISE THE ROOF II closes Wednesday, May 28, at 12-noon!

- If you are not attending the event on May 29th, you may sign up for "proxy bidding."

- Proceeds from this auction will benefit renovations for Interim House, a halfway house in Dorchester, MA. Interim house was founded in 1972 by Yvonne Linehan, whose 75th birthday will be celebrated in memoriam.

- The live event held at Florian Hall in Dorchester is hosted by Neal Huff of HBO's The Wire.

-Governor Deval Patrick will honor State Rep. Martin J. Walsh, for his support of substance abuse issues, Howard Cutler, pro-bono accountant since 1972, and Ben Wade, Interim House graduate and now a staff counselor.

- The live event will feature readings by Michael Patrick MacDonald (All Souls, Easter Rising), George Pelecanos (The Night Gardner, HBO's The Wire), Joe Pernice (Meat is Murder), Tom Perrotta (Little Children, Election), and Warren Zanes (Dusty in Memphis).
